As observed USA had this a lot in them. Absolute show of mental strength throughout the tournament.They now stand at the top of the table qualifying for the second round, sharing same points with the biggies England. At the same time, France, Spain and Italy had great problems eying their win. All the three are formidable teams with excellent players on board. Yet over confidence and carelessness made them pay for it. They are all down and out.They are out of the race.England was also having same problems, but they somehow managed to pick a draw without succumbing to a loss. Cappello was outta his mind. The formation was awful with the right players not placed at the right position.
Now coming to the winners, Argentina are there for a huge run as they moved to the second round easily. Gonzalo Higuain was the first hat-trick scorer. Also a change was made, wen mascharano was rested and messi was given the job to captain. A different experience, then the most important talk of the tournament was Portugal. They blasted in 7 goals through the net against the koreans. As for brazzil, they are doing their job cleanly entering the second round. So as far as it goes, 3 biggies are hurt, and three underdogs are gonna take their places in the second round.
